What a gem! If you are like me and love to discover lovely small towns on my travels, the town of Nobby in Queensland in must say was a pleasant surprise. A short 30 minute drive from Toowoomba is the gorgeous, historical town of Nobby.

Location and Accessibility to Nobby
Nobby is located 33 minutes south west of Toowoomba, between Greenmount and Clifton. Turn off the New England Highway at Eaton Vale then follow the signs to Greenmount and Nobby.
Facilities and Amenities
Nestled between the train lines and Sister Kenny Park you will find the pet friendly Nobby RV Rest area. A 72 hour rest stop! The park has Toilets, Potable water, playground, BBQ's, bins and undercover seating areas. At one end of the Park you will find the historical Railways station and visitor information centre and at the other end you will find the Sister Kenny House (museum) and memorial garden. Across the road from the park is the Nobby General Store, historical buildings built in 1898 and the historical Rudds Pub.
72 Hour stay

Atmosphere and Experience
Being a quiet country town, I felt very safe here, At night it was very quiet, during the day, the occasional train or truck came through the town, but not being on the main highway, these were limited.
